Undergraduate Student, Archaeology

Grace Howe

Grace is majoring in Archaeology and double minoring in Classics and Physics. Growing up in New York, she developed a love for museums and deep curiosity for how history and archaeology are taught. Her interests center around exhibition design, postcolonial critiques of archaeology, and the integration of digital technology both in the archaeological process and in museum education. After spending a summer in Marzamemi, she is continuing to work with 3-D modeling and reconstruction of marble elements excavated from the Marzamemi 2 "church wreck." Some other research projects she’s involved in investigate the provenance of Cypriot art at the Cantor Museum, and the incorporation of an AR museum experience in middle and high school history classrooms.
