Jamie Marwell

Jamie is majoring in Mechanical Engineering. For his entire life, he has loved history for its stories and engineering for its ability to actualize the designs in his head. He is primarily focused on 3D design and CAD manufacturing, with his historical passion stretching from the Bronze Age Collapse to the modern era. In the Archaeology Center and lab, he is applying Finite Element Analysis and other mechanical analysis techniques to ceramic transport amphoras, searching for answers about the design and evolution of the ancient materials. Outside of this project, he loves to build everything from electric guitars to rockets.
