Khaled Nikro

Khaled’s work with the lab centers on the practice of ceramic production, which has been the major focus of his interest for the past twelve years. He researches methods of pottery formation and the uses of transport vessels from the Bronze Age onward, expertise he shares with the team to guide their understanding of the mechanics of production of amphoras and many other ceramics. When not traveling to Japan or Europe to learn and attend master classes, he can be found at his potter's wheel in San Jose.
