Robert Muniz

Robert is majoring in Classics on the Greek and Latin track. He is primarily interested in the development of Latin, focusing on Archaic Latin and Plautine comedy. Outside of studying languages, he is interested in ancient shipbuilding and the history of Mediterranean trade. Robert spent summer 2023 in Marzamemi diving with Project ‘U Mari as well as modeling and cataloging artifacts, and summer 2024 working with the project’s conservator to cast metal concretions from the Marzamemi “church wreck.”
