Sophia Wu

Sophia is majoring in Classics and Earth Systems. Studying on the language track in Classics, she is interested in how material evidence informs or contests the literature and vice versa. She is also interested in human-nature interactions across time and their representations in visual and literary art. She has spent time working on projects integrating traditional ecological knowledge and Western science in developing ecotourism. After a summer in Marzamemi where she helped with survey data, she is now working on management and cataloging of the Marzamemi 2 shipwreck database.
