Alpha Hernandez

Alpha graduated in 2019 from Stanford with a major in Architectural Design and a minor in Classical Studies. Since graduating, she moved home to Fort Worth, where she works as a high school physics teacher and as Program Coordinator for (MS)2 at Phillips Academy Andover. Devoted to helping her community flourish, Alpha uses her knowledge of archaeology, architecture, DEI, and STEM to provide learning opportunities for underrepresented minorities in her hometown. Through her two years working in Marzamemi, Alpha developed her love of archaeological conservation, digital restoration, and authentic heritage presentation, leading to a thesis focused on digital reconstruction of the chancel screen components from the Marzamemi 2 shipwreck.
