Sean Crowley

Sean double-majored in classics and archaeology, with a focus on Roman history and material culture and, eventually as a thesis, a contemporary archaeology of the "California Dream." He began working with the lab team in summer 2021, modeling amphoras in 3D to explore patterns in their use for storage and transit, and he continued this work through research into the archaeological evidence from shipwrecks for the organization and arrangement of cargos.
